The Mode of the Lawyer
Public Group active 1 year, 2 months agoPreaching in “the mode of the lawyer” describes the preacher’s attempt to convince listeners of the truth of their biblical claims. This mode is a way of addressing both the elements of “information” and “exposition.” Members are encouraged to use this space to raise their questions, share their ideas, offer examples, and generally discuss their attempts to improve their preaching in the mode of the lawyer.
