Delivering the Sermon Event

Preaching is, in fact, an event -an unrepeatable moment-in-time when God speaks by his Spirit through his Word and through the preacher. This space allows members to discuss issues relevant to their skill development in the delivery of their sermons. What tone of voice should a preacher use? How should he or she dress? Is a pulpit necessary? What about the use of notes? Don’t forget to check the preaching.org “classroom” for further discussion of these themes.
