It is another one that I feel I need to make time for. I agree with you re: the way in which we can see the trajectory of God’s movement and purposes of His creation. Daniel is not a good passage to preach that from, I believe that is reading into the text. One issue is that the words translated “royal food” and “vegetables” both have some linguistic ambiguity around them such that it is unclear what the royal food was, beyond it being what was provided for by the palace budget, and that the vegetables may…[Read more]
